Features of this Dab Rig
Reinforced with a technique called a "dewar's joint", which is a bridge between the two joints, this increase the strength of the joint and helps prevents breakage.
The technique called Sandblasting involves using fine grit material and pressured air to etch into the glass and give it a frosted cool and a unique texture that many love.
We consider this piece to have thick glass, which helps with the durability of certain glass items. Thick glass means your piece is less likely to break as a result of damage. While many of our pieces have thick glass, we felt the need to point it out specifically here.
LQL Glass is the brainchild of glass artist Jayme Prati. Prati first started working with glass back in 1997 out of San Francisco, California. After a move back in 2002, he now works out of his studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Prati started LQL Glass in July 2013, and his line of scientific glass had made a startling impression in the world of glass. LQL Glass also created the jimmiedisc, a disc-style perc also known as a "trash perc." Smoke Cartel is proud to have LQL Glass on our shelves, and we're always looking forward to seeing their awesome percs in action.
