About this Product

Fans of The Beach Bum movie know that Moondog, played by Matthew McConaughey, is a rebellious stoner who lives life by his own rules. This black cat spoon pipe is from the collection of The Beach Bum smoking accessories.

This 4-inch long hand pipe is made of thick borosilicate glass that's built to take a bit of rough handling. This great-looking glass pipe has a decal of Moondog's white cat on the bowl and 'The Beach Bum' logo on the stem.

With its roomy deep bowl, you can pack a little or a lot of your favorite strain and light it up. There's a left side carb hole you can use to control the size and intensity of your rips. In between hits, you can set this glass spoon pipe down on a flat surface and it won't tip over, thanks to its flattened bottom.

How It's Made
Glass Spoon Pipes

Despite their straightforward nature, making hand pipes requires a large amount of training and experience. Glass artists start with a tube about four inches long and decorate it with a variety of techniques such as fuming, linework, etc. Next the artist starts to create the shape of the pipe by stretching the neck and forming the mouthpiece. The artist then carefully blows into the end of the tube to expand the glass and shape the bowl. They then push the bowl and pop the carb before placing it in the kiln to finish!
