About this Product

Product SKU: PIG-P-PINK

In the fable of The Three Little Pigs, three pigs become involved in a domestic dispute with an instigator known as "The Big Bad Wolf." Two of the pigs fall victim to Mr. Wolf's attack due to the faulty construction of their homes. But the third and final pig remains safe and sound due to his prudent and prescient dedication to using quality construction materials.

At Smoke Cartel, we are the third pig. And this Little Piggy Hand Pipe from LA Pipes, hand blown from thick borosilicate glass, is no match for any wolf-- no matter how big nor bad.

The California-based LA Pipes crafts each piece with a skilled hand developed through years of experience understanding the nuances of what makes great glass engineering. Get ready to huff, puff, and... well, you get the idea.

How It's Made
Glass Spoon Pipes

Despite their straightforward nature, making hand pipes requires a large amount of training and experience. Glass artists start with a tube about four inches long and decorate it with a variety of techniques such as fuming, linework, etc. Next the artist starts to create the shape of the pipe by stretching the neck and forming the mouthpiece. The artist then carefully blows into the end of the tube to expand the glass and shape the bowl. They then push the bowl and pop the carb before placing it in the kiln to finish!
