Do I need to buy a screen for this bowl?

Honestly no but if you prefer to have a screen for whatever reason go ahead but i personally don't think you need one. Great purchase though for large hits.

Yes it would! 18.8mm is the exact measurement of the joint diameter. Most smoke shops use 18mm as a formality.
