The KandyPens Galaxy Concentrate Vape Pen is quite awesome. I am very new to vaping and wanted to go with an easy-to-use device, considering my experience. The Galaxy pen is so easy a "noob" can work it. Aside from being user-friendly it comes in a variety of colors, my personal favorite being the turquoise and gold. Let me just add, this biddy sparkles! Who doesn't dig a little dazzle in their day? However, for the people that don't feel the glisten on their tool I believe Smoke Cartel provides a black rubber color option. There's something for everyone!
One of the great things about the Galaxy is the compact, portable case it packs up into. The mouthpiece and atomizer screw apart from the battery base, there's a usb charger that screws into the top of the base that comes apart from the mouthpiece, and a dabber tool. I love the sleekness of its shape, although I find the pen to be bottom heavy which I don't dig as much. Though if that's one of its only short comings then there's not much to complain about.
I especially dig the double quartz rod with titanium coiling within. Personally, quartz is the way to go when it comes to preserving the taste; not my favorite when it comes to accessories and a torch. I will say however, that I am still not one hundred percent given that the directions lack in depth detail as to where exactly I am to put the oil. Is there a designated area, only on the titanium coils, or across the entire rod? Use and time will only tell. The Galaxy has three temperature settings; low-red, medium-green, and high-blue. Funny story, I accidentally misinterpreted the directions and mistakenly thought blue was low temp, vaped the last of my concentrate... Well, it's funny now. I haven't figured out which setting I most prefer to better preserve my oils which is frustrating, but at least now I can do all my deeds with in one swift motion compared to the ole torch and rig combo. Don't kid though - I love the stationary way.
These are just minor set backs considering this is just the beginning, it's only going to get better from here! I already dig this little gadget, so inconspicuous; pinkies out people.
